Ready for Winter Cocktail aka Apple Rosemary Lemon and Ginger Cocktail

Yields 1 cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 oz vodka
  • 2 oz apple cider
  • 3/4 oz Rosemary Ginger simple syrup (recipe below)
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Sprig of rosemary to garnish

Directions:

Pour all liquid contents in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously and pour into a martini glass. Slap sprig of rosemary against the palm of your hand to release the oils then lay it on top of the cocktail.

Rosemary Ginger Simple Syrup Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup organic vegan sugar
  • 1-inch knob of ginger, thinly sliced
  • 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, bring water to a simmer. Add the sugar and stir until combined.
  2. Turn the heat off, and add the sliced ginger and fresh rosemary sprigs. Let them steep in the syrup for about 10 minutes. Let it cool, and store in a airtight  container for up to a month in the fridge.
