Raspberry Banana Green Dream Smoothie

Time: About 15 minutes

Flavors: Sour/Sweet/Herbaceous

Ingredients:
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1 to 2 cups, lightly packed romaine, mixed baby greens or baby spinach
  • 11⁄2 to 2 cups frozen raspberries or blueberries
  • 1 to 2 cups filtered water

Directions:

  1. Put the bananas, greens, berries, and 1 cup of the water in a blender.
  2. Process until smooth, adding more water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
  3. Serve immediately.

NOTE: To freeze bananas, break each one into 3 or 4 pieces and put them in a resealable freezer bag. Seal and freeze for at least 12 hours before using.
