Parisian Hot Chocolate

Yield: 3 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. water
  • ½ vanilla bean
  • 6 Tbsp. Coco
  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 pint half & half
  • 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate

Directions:

  1. Bring 1 cup water and ½ vanilla bean to a boil.
  2. Add 6 tablespoons coco and ½ cup sugar, return to boil. Whisk for 2 minutes.
  3. Add 1 pint half & half (fat free works well too), return to boil. Remove from heat and add 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
  4. Strain and serve.
