Kentucky Bourbon Steak Marinade

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Bourbon
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Dijon (Grey Poupon) mustard
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 shallots finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 scallions, thin bias cut
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Mix well and refrigerate.

Great for pork or steak, Marinate the meat at least four hours, less if the meat is chicken or a thin cut, and more on thick cuts. It’s best to turn over the meat at least once during the process. And remember to marinate under refrigeration.
