Healthy Smoothies

For all the recipes on these pages, put ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Use frozen fruit for a thick, icy texture (we even freeze our bananas!) or add water if you like your smoothies thinner. Each serves two.

Tropical Vacation Smoothie
  • 11⁄2 cups fresh or frozen mango
  • 3⁄4 cup coconut yogurt
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1⁄2 cup orange juice
  • 11⁄2 cups ice

 

Hide The Veggies

  • 1⁄2 cup drained canned beets
  • 1⁄2 orange, peeled 
  • 3⁄4 cup fresh or frozen pitted cherries 
  • 3⁄4 cup fresh or frozen
  • strawberries 
  • 1tbsp chia seeds, soaked in water
  • for 20 min 
  • 1⁄2 cup carrot juice
  • 1 cup ice

 

Almond Banana Spice

  • 2 bananas 
  • 1⁄2 cup silken tofu 
  • 1⁄2 cup
  • 1% milk
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 3⁄4 tsp cinnamon 
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup ice
 
Almost Dessert Smoothie
  • 1⁄2 banana

  • 1⁄2 cup brewed coffee

    11⁄2 tbsp chia seeds, soaked in water

    for 20 min

  • 1⁄4 cup chocolate

    spread, such as

    nutella

  • 1⁄2 cup

  • 1% milk

  • 2 cups ice
