Grilled Cheese with Ham & Spinach

Per sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of whole grain bread
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 2 slices thinly sliced ha
  • handful of baby spinach
  • mayonnaise
  • butter for pan

Directions:

  1. Heat a skillet with a pat of butter, medium heat.
  2. Spread each slice of bread with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
  3. Top with cheese, ham & some spinach leaves.
  4. Heat the sandwich for 3 minutes (or until golden brown) carefully flip, add more butter to the pan.
  5. Cook another 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted & bread is golden brown on both sides.
