Grape Margarita

Makes 6

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups California black, red, or white table grapes
  • 1 1/4 cup tequila
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 cups ice
  • 6 lime slices for garnish

Directions:

  1. Place all ingredients into the bowl of a good blender and purée until blended and slushy, about 2 minutes.
  2. Serve in margarita glasses and garnish with a lime slice.

Note:
This is a slightly more fiber and nutrient filled version of the classic beachside beverage. Rim the glass with coarse salt if you like it, otherwise, just garnish with a slice of lime.
