Baja Fish Tacos

Ingredients
  • 1 lb catfish
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 6" flour tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Method
  1. Cut fish into two inch fillets and season with garlic and powder.
  2. Combine egg and milk in a bowl. Dip fillets into egg mixture and then into the flour.
  3. Fry fish in oil for about 2 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, heat flour tortillas on the grill or in the microwave. Top with your choice of ingredients, including guacamole, pico de gallo and/or Mexican coleslaw.
  5. Remove fish from fryer, place one fillet in each tortilla, roll up and serve.
