Fingerling Potatoes Au Gratin

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ stick butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon Classic Yellow Mustard
  • 2 cups milk
  • 18-ounce package Kraft shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2-3 lbs fingerling potatoes, washed peeled and sliced

 

THE MOVES

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Melt butter over medium heat in a medium saucepan.

3. Mix flour, salt, and mustard in the pan.

4. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

5. Add both cheeses and onion, and stir until cheese is melted.

6. Grease a baking dish with vegetable spray or butter.

7. Layer sliced potatoes and cheese sauce altering and ending with potatoes on top.

8. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until potatoes are nice and tender.

 

Serves: 2-4
