5-Layer Hummus & Seitan Dip Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sabra Guacamole
  • 1/4 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Sabra Traditional Salsa
  • Tortilla chip cups or other cup-type chip or cracker
  • 9 ounces Taft Foodmasters Gyro Seitan; ground
  • 2 green onions; finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced  

Directions:

  1. Combine avocado, sour cream and salsa in food processor and puree until smooth.
  2. Pour avocado mixture into a zip top bag and cut small corner out of bottom of bag for piping.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Heat oil in medium skillet over high heat. Add ground seitan, toss and heat through. Set aside.
  5. Line serving platter with tortilla chip cups and pipe avocado mixture into each one about 1/3 full. 
  6. Top with 1 teaspoon of warm seitan, sprinkle of cheese, pinch of green onion and black olive slice. Garnish with sprinkle of chopped cilantro

Makes about 30 bites
