Stuffed Lamb Burger
Ingredients
16 oz Lamb, ground
1 tbsp. Chili powder (preferably Turkish)
1 tbsp.. Tomato, chopped
1 tbsp. Black olive, chopped
1 tbsp.. Mint, chopped
1 tbsp.. Onion, chopped
1 tbsp. Feta, crumbled
2 Hamburger buns
2 Olives
4-6 Pickled vegetables (pepper, cucumber, cauliflower, etc.), cut into 3/4-inch pieces
2 Extra long toothpicks
Method
Heat grill.
In a glass bowl, mix chili powder with lamb by hand. Then form four 4 oz. patties.
Combine all other ingredients in the bowl. Place half mixture on top of one patty, other half on a second patty. Cover each with remaining two patties and press to seal in stuffing.
Place on grill and cook for 4- 5 minutes for medium rare.
Place each lamb burger in bun. Thread each tooth pick with an olive and vegetables and skewer the center of both buns for an anchoring garnish.
Serves two.
