Do all of these studies about food impact what you eat?

I get so tired of all the comments about what’s good for you and what isn’t. Plus, it seems to change daily: “Don’t eat chocalate”; “Eat some chocalate ever day–it’s good for you”. “Don’t drink at all” became, “A glass of red wine every evening provides antioxidants that are beneficial for your health.”
I do like vegetables that I didn’t used to like because of some of the newer recipes that give me different ideas about what method of cooking to use and what spices and juices bring out the flavor.
I eat what I have always eaten all my life and I am fine. My kids were fine growing up eating the foods I ate. If you wait any amount of time they seem to find something wrong with the food and than wait again and they say no now it is good for you. So if it wasnt bad before and your body tolarates it fine than keep eating always in moderation.
i knew what was good for me many many years ago! i do eat good.
