I’M GOING TO SPEND CHRISTMAS HERE IN WASHINGTON WITH MY FAMILY AND MY COUSINS WHO ARE COMING TO VISIT ALL THE WAY FROM SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA. WE ALWAYS CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH TAMALES AND POSOLE SO I’M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD FOR THIS HOLIDAY SEASON.
I get to go with my husbands family 1 day and than to my moms the next for thanksgiving. And christmas we always celebrated christmas eve with my husbands family because they are 1/2 jewish and 1/2 christian. So we call it hannikamiss. And than i get to spen christmas with my family.
We are driving almost 1500 miles to spend Thanksgiving with our best friends.
We are going back home to New Orleans for Thanksgiving. It has been a very long time since I have spent a holiday back home. I am very grateful and thankful to be going home. My mom is 92 yrs. old and I am not sure how many more holidays we will have together. This is a very special trip for me and my teenage dauther.
Thankfully, we are staying home. Our grown children will come and visit with the grandbabies. We also have pared down our gift-giving. Instead of the usual extravaganza, we are doing a “Chinese White Elephant”, and everyone seems excited about that!
I will be staying at home to cook for family and friends. I hope that everyone out there will be warm and have a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas . This holiday season .
I am spreading my self thin this year and am going to be going from my house to pick up son’s girlfriend, off to my parents house for lunch, and then off another hour to my husbands sister’s house for supper. Then finally after taking girlfriend home i should be able to head home and prepare my turkey for me to have my home thanksgiving dinner for my own family and children on Friday following Thanksgiving after shopping for christmas on the most busiest shopping day of the year. So as you can see i will be busy.
I will be Going to My Sisters for Thanksgiving. We are having Our Tradional Family Dinner and Enjoying The Gathering of all of us. My Favorite Holiday of the Year.
I’m looking for comfort and a laid back atmosphere. I will have an open door policy and keep the home fires burning. The 5 kids and 10 grandkids will make their appearances along with other family and friends. Sounds heavenly. No traveling for us!
I’m going to hell if i don’t make a change!
This holiday season I am not traveling anywhere. I will stay in my lovely and warm house and be joined by my pre-fiance and love of my life from Germany. This will be the perfect holiday!
