Maribel Aber

Maribel Aber is a television presenter, host and spokesperson. She began her career on Wall Street, where she became the first female Asian executive to rise to the level of officer at The Nasdaq Stock Market ("NASDAQ"), as Former Vice President, Global Corporate Client Group. Maribel appears weekly on the nationally syndicated television program "Better" which is seen in over 50 markets across the country. She is most passionate about teaching others about the importance of financial literacy and helping others find their "inner career mojo".

As a brand ambassador for NASDAQ, Maribel regularly hosted the televised NASDAQ Opening and Closing Bell ceremonies, and conducted on-camera interviews of visiting CEOs and dignitaries. Maribel has made cameo appearances, portraying herself, for ABC's daytime drama, All My Children, and Bravo's hit series, The Real Housewives of New York City. Maribel is also a veteran of television broadcast and event production. She pioneered the idea of the televised remote NASDAQ Opening Bell and promoted and produced it across the globe, including: Beijing, Davos, London, Dubai, and Mysore and Chennai, India.

An advocate for financial literacy, women's issues, and the environment, Maribel sits on the Advisory Board of WorldofMoney.org, the Board of the International Stock Exchange Executives Emeriti, Inc., the Executive Global Board of Directors of the Euro-American Women's Council, and the Board of the Rainforest Fund, founded by Sting and Trudie Styler.

Maribel was a contributor to Business Week best seller, Do Your Giving While You Are Living: Inspirational Lessons on What You Can Do Today to Make A Difference Tomorrow (Morgan James Publishing, November 2008). She is currently working on a book focused on providing coaching and leadership guidance; sharing her personal experience and the anecdotes from leaders she has met throughout her career.

Maribel is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs. She earned her J.D. from New York Law School. She is married and divides her time between New York City, Los Angeles, and Marco Island, Florida.
