Judy Goss

After an extremely successful career as a model, Judy landed a job in New York City as a casting director/art buyer for a high-end advertising agency. Besides casting for models, photographers, stylists, and hair and make-up talent for catalog and advertising clients such as Bloomingdale's, Dillard's and Esprit, she produced their photo shoots in the studio and on location nationally and internationally.

From casting and producing she went on to become a highly regarded modeling agent at New York Model Management on their editorial board, then moved to Ford Models and worked as an agent on their editorial/celebrity board which included models such as Stephanie Seymour, Christie Brinkley, Naomi Campbell and Jerry Hall.

Judy has also recently been involved in casting some of the world's top models for select fashion shows who participated in New York City's fashion show week during spring of 2007. That job led to a position as Bookings Editor for Cosmopolitan magazine's yearly "Style and Beauty Issue" for Summer/Fall 2007, and shortly after that a full-time position as Castings and Bookings Editor for More magazine in New York City.

After only two months with More magazine, Judy was selected to be the spokesperson for their national "40+ Model Search" in tandem with Wilhelmina Models. Spokesperson duties for the search included live and taped interviews with newspapers, satellite media and network and cable television shows across the nation. Judy also represented More as an editor on many of their fashion and beauty TV segments.

Judy is a regular correspondent on our show, and has recently appeared in live national and regional television segments across the country as a "Trend and Lifestyle Expert" for networks such as CBS (The CBS Early Show and CBS News), ABC, WPIX and taped segments for FOX 5 Good Day New York and The CW. Additionally, Judy has been interviewed by several cable channels, websites, newspapers, and national magazines across the country about the modeling industry.

Judy wrote a book published by St. Martin's Press about the modeling industry called Break Into Modeling for Under $20 which is her own unique four-step process of breaking into the modeling industry. She also speaks out in the book against paying unnecessary fees to break into modeling, as well as tips before and after someone gets representation. Break Into Modeling for Under $20 was released in the Fall of 2008.

A certified volunteer for the New York chapter of Make-a-Wish Foundation, Judy lives with her husband and twin girls in New York.
